DAAD Master’s Scholarships in Germany Helmut Schmidt Programme provide financial and non-financial support to highly educated candidates for their education. The DAAD Master’s Scholarships in Germany Helmut Schmidt Programme, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, provides a limited number of scholarships to highly educated applicants from Africa, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

The Hanel Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to applicants from Europe, Central Asia, Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.

Helmut-Schmidt-Programme

The Willy Brandt School is a partner of DAAD’s Helmut-Schmidt program, which is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (Masters Scholarships in Public Policy and Good Governance). Helmet Schmidt Scholarships include living expenses and Brandt School tuition discounts.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a limited number of scholarships to highly educated applicants from Africa, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The current call for applications and a list of eligible countries can be found on the DAAD Helmut-Schmidt Program website. Please note that all applications for the Helmut-Schmidt DAAD Scholarship must be submitted directly through our online application portal within the period given below, paper applications will not be accepted.

No additional application to the DAAD is required.
