English language requirements

If you need a visa to study with us, you will need to provide proof that you have a sufficient level of English to study. ICMP UK SCHOLARSHIP, You can meet this requirement by taking IELTS (UKVI) at the UKVI Approved SELT Center and obtaining an overall B2 grade in each of the four major areas (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).

If you are applying to study in BA, BMus, MA, or MMus programs, you can demonstrate your ability in English while sitting:

  • IELTS (Academic) – Overall and grade B2 in each field (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
  • Cambridge English – First (FCE) B2 or Advanced (CAE) C1 or Skills (PAE) C2
  • Trinity College London – Integrated English Skills (ISE) ISE II (B2) or higher
